I am currently looking for recommendations on
applications that will allow me to track files stored on
our network that will allow me to determine if I can
delete files if they have not been accessed in x number
of years. It should have the capability of producing
printed reports or files that I can import into excel.

Date accessed will be updated by your virus scanner.

If you aren't using a AV or other filter driver, parse
dir /A-D /O-d /TA
in a FOR command.
