File is shared!!!

I am a new member in this forum.

A few of my excel sheets are shown as "Microsoft excel- (sheet name
[Shared]"...
i run on Office 2000 and face this problem only in certain sheets.

Due to this, i am not able to use the merge option nor am i able t
alter the charts.

pls help

Hi!

I think this occur because you share the workbook.
If you want to remove this:
- open the workbook that is shared
- From the Tools menu, select "Share workbook"
- Uncheck the checkbox "Allow changes by more than one user..." in the
Editing tab. Click OK and then save the workbook.

It may say [Group], which means that you have more than one sheet
selected (more than one sheet tab is coloured white).

To ungroup them, right-click on a sheet tab that is grouped
Choose Ungroup Sheets
