When Word 2007 is already running, and I programatically call another copy of
Word, I get the 'File In Use' error that references the .dotm. Right now I
have been able to remedy this by marking the .dotm files as Read-only. I know
that by logging in as a standard user, the file will be automatically set as
RO.

However, does anyone know of an article that addresses this specifically?
This new 'enhancement' by Microsoft is totally undocumented as far as I can
see.

Yes, I already did a web search.

Thank you very much.
