Can you change the file format of pictures once set up.
If so how please

The free Irfan view (www.irfanview.com) will load a picture from just
about any format and 'Save as ' in just about any other one. In between
it allows you to crop, to resize/resample to the appropriate resolution
and provide color correction facilities if wanted. Invaluable,
especially at the price
