File & Folders Task bar

Hi there,
Can anyone help me? We took our computer in to get fixed and since it came
back everything works great but when you open "My Documents" on the left hand
side used to be a column that had File & Folder Tasks that you could click
on. This has disappeared and I can't figure out how to get it back.
Unfortunately I can't ask the place that we got it fixed at because they are
closed until next week.
Any ideas how to get this handy tool back????

In Windows Explorer go to Tools, Folder Options. On the General tab, select Show common tasks in folders

Unclick the Toolbar button Folders on the top of the window.
