Hi there,

I've been innocently been editing the icons in Windows XP (i.e. changing the
IE icon to a silver one, etc.), then after changing a few icons and I try
opening up a folder and instead of opening the folder it opens up a Command
Prompt window within that folder. Basically the default action for my file
folders has changed to open Command Prompt. I've looked at File Types in
Folder Options, but I cannot edit File Folder. At the moment I have to
right click on every folder I want to open and view and select Open. :-(

How can I restore the default action for my folders? Also is there any
easier way of editing the default icons in Windows XP besides going through
Files Types in Folder Options?

Type "regsvr32 /i shell32" in the RUN box.

Hi again.

That's actually put all my OE accounts in alphabetically order on the
