Every time I go into my profile or the other 3 profiles on
our computer the first thing that comes up on the screen
is the system 32 folder open. Why is this happening?

That is because the system has a wrong path on one of the program that is
loading at startup.
You can run MSCONFIG from Start-->Run and look in the Startup tab for a path
that has a miessed quote at the beginning or at the end of the command.
There you will know from where is called that command and its name, you can
go there then and fix the respective quote issue.

The common one is an entry /L:ENG from the drivers for Audigy sound
cards - not a matter of a missed quote, but a line that starts with what
is taken as a terminating character, so it looks as if you are trying to
load a blank - and it is taken from System32 by default
