File Folder actions doesn't do what it used to!!

Hi everyone.

Here is my problem: I was changing up some icons for my folders one day and
i went into Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Folder Options and into
the File Types tab. I thought that if I were to change the 'File Folder' type
then all folders would look a certain way and it'd be great. So I try that.
I then go into My Documents and try to go into a 'File Folder' type which is
a typical folder that contains files. Now, it doesn't just open the folder
like it used to! A new window opens up with the quick Windows XP file search.
So I experiment around for a while trying to change it back. I add new
commands to the 'File Folder' type and I mess it up even more.

I don't know what to do anymore; Just about to format my computer for a new
start because of this. PLEASE someone help me! I'd appreciate it so much.

Yep that's what happens when you do what you did. Try this:

[Tip from David Candy)]
Click Start | Run and type this command:

regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
