File/Folder Access Errors

Unable to delete, move or even access files and folders
at various places on my harddrive. I have moved the
folders to the root C:\ drive and have been able to
delete some files from there. However when I move the
folder back again, and try and open it I get
error '.....Access is Denied'. This problem IS spreading
and is beginning to drive me mad. I am unable to use the
Microsoft free support, it rejects the Pin Number saying
it has already been used? Whatever that means?
