When I right click to save a jpg image from a webpage,
I'm finding it converted to a bmp when I go to view it
in "My Pictures". Has not always done this. How can I
keep the image as a jpg without this automatic conversion
taking place. I use windows xp and explorer 6.0.?

Thanks,
Steve

The usual fix is to clear your cache.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.

Alan, it worked like a charm and I'm most appreciative.

Best,
Steve
