File Extension

Front page always saves my files with a .htm extenstion, but unfortunately
our new server only recognizes .html. Is there a way to get Front Page to
save as .html?

I think you'll find that the only page that needs to .html is the home page or default
page:
index.html or default html

This is common with almost all servers.

File > Save as... and name the file "index.html". As Steve Easton said, this
is important for the home page, but other pages will display okay with .htm
extensions.

You can always have the host admin add "index.htm" to the list of default
files.
