File ext

All recent downloads have a file ext of exe.PDF, why ? How
can I change them back to exe.
 
Hi Jacque,

Start/run regedit, navigate to this key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe (that's a slash - period - exe).

Click on it, then on file/export and save to the desktop. Right click the
saved file, click 'edit' to open it in notepad. Click edit/select
all/edit/copy. Open a reply to this post, click in the message text area.
Hit ctrl+v to paste in the contents for examination.
