File currupted,size 22.7MB

Excel file, size 22.7MB, Error Message : Damage to the file was so extensive
that repairs were not possible. Excel attempted to recover your formulas and
values, But some data may have been lost or corrupted

When I open the Excel file, its giving below error and all the formatting and
some values gone.
How to get back the original file?

This would only be possible totally if you have a backup, but in case this
is Excel 2000 or similar try opening in XL2003 and see if that makes a
better job. If it does, save it as a new file and hope
