Has anyone encountered a popup screen that stated "The application,
C:\WINDOWS\crno.exe, generated an application error" SEND REPORT/DON'T SEND
REPORT. Afterwards you get about 18 more messages stating "Faulting
application crno.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version
5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x000441db.

thanks,

You have file remnants of "malware" that should be deleted.

Download Ad-Aware 6.0 and scan your PC for the presence of spyware:

Note: Be sure to click on the "Check for updates now" link before scanning.

Run the latest versions of Spybot from http://www.safer-
networking.org/ and Ad-aware from
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/.

Make sure that you have the latest updates for both
installed. They both have automatic update features that
download and install the latest updates.

And if they don't sort the problem out visit
http://www.spywareinfo.com/ for a utility called
HighjackThis.

Post the log file it generates to the Forum on that site
for advice on what to do.
