HI.

Recently I have been having problems almost all kinds of attachments
with Office XP 2003 and a collegue mentioned that he was having the
same problem and said that I should upgrade to 2007, which I did. It
worked fine for a few days and now I get the problem again.

The problem is as follows:
- Any attachement whether doc files, xls, or anything gives me the file
corrupt error message. The file itself cannot be corrupt because when I
ask the sender to send it again to a collegue's email, he can receive
it fine and on my machine it gives me the error.
- When opening JPG files I get the drawing failed message.

My Current situation:
- Windows XP Tablet Edition.
- Office XP 2007.
- All updates that I know of for Tablet edition have been downloaded.
- Inbox mails are around 6,500 emails.
- PST file is about 2GB.

Can anyone help on this? Its really getting annoying having to send the
same file from the sender to my collegue every time.

Thanks

You can leave the "XP" in the version. Only version 2002 is known as XP ;-)

Is the pst-file a UNICODE pst-file? If not it is oversized. Otherwise use
scanpst.exe to check it for errors. Additionally if you have a virus scanner
that integrates with Outlook disable this integration to make sure the virus
scanner isn't causing the corruption.
