on all windows-OSes oncluding XP.

And it does binaries which exam diff doesn't.

lots of alternatives there... I prefer Winmerge

Thanks! It appears that Winmerge, which looks very useful,
does not support WinME, my OS.

I'm pretty sure ME is also supported even though it's not explicitly
mentioned...
It's only a 460 kb download, so give it a try
