I have been told that the subject file may have been dropped in by Microsoft
during an update or hot fix.
The problem is that when I do a Lavasoft Ad-Aware "full system scan," it
stops and hangs up each time it reaches this file. I then have to turn off
the operation.
I cannot find this file and would try to delete it, if I can, in an attempt
to allow the scan operation to complete.
Any ideas of where this file came from, what it does, and how to find it?

These are the uninstall routines for various service pack and or hotfixes.
