File Backup/Restore - W98

Hi I backed up on floppies, some files in the backup
program in Win 98 and now want to restore them in Win XP -
is this possible????

I never was a Xin9x user, but believe I have read that one
has to restore the backup using Win9x and then move the
files to XP

The backup files from 9x aren't compatible with xp's backup. Xp's backup will
corrupt it if you attempt to restore any files from the 9x backup file. You'll
have to use 9x to restore the files to a cd, and then backup using xp's backup
program.
