"File As" Contact Field Blank

Hi,

My "File As" Field is blank in when viewing my Contacts in Outlook 2003.
Although the field is entered when completing a new contact, it remains
blank when viewing the contact as an Address Card, or whatever. Any ideas
how to fix this?

I am using Office 2003 Professional.

Did your Contacts ever appear correctly?
If so, what steps produced this problem?
If not, how were these Contacts created?
 
You must have email addresses for all contacts--even a fake one--since OL's
address book is an email address book. Could that be the problem? I use
(e-mail address removed) as an entry for those contacts who have no email so the mail
address shows up.
 
That only applies to the Address Book view, not the Contacts Folder views.
Since the purpose of the Address Book view is only to display electronic
addresses, I can see no need to create fake electronic addresses.

Where do you get your ideas? So many, like this one, are wrong.
