Hello John,
The key you are looking for is a binary value named "Config" under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network
Unfortunately this key is a binary value. We recommend not to make changes
to this key, since it also depends on other criteria, such as existing
Network connections and customized configurations for your Network. Making
changes to that key can leave you without the capability of connecting to
your LAN, ISP or any other type of network connection.
If you wish to change this setting you may do so via a policy or other
method of distribution, like some type of script or api to make this call.
