File and folder permissions in Worgroup networking

I have 5 pc's in a workgroup running XP Home and Professional. The two
machines of concern are both running XP Pro. On these XP Pro machines are
files and folders that I want others in the network to be locked out of, but
I also want to continue the ability to share other files, folders, and
printers on these two machines with others in the workgroup. Is there any
way without having to run on a domain/server setup that I can lock out other
user's from accessing certain files and folders? The user's on both XP Pro
machines that I want to have full access are using the same account name and
login password.

XP Pro gives you complete control over which users can access
individual shared folders. The key is to do what you mentioned: use
the same account name and login password on each computer. Ron Lowe
