File Access

I have recently installed a new SATA HD and installed windows XP (Home Ed).
Prior to this I copied my documents to another HD with the view of copying to
the new drive when XP is up and running. The sys is now loaded with all the
latest updates installed and I wish to copy my old files to the new HD. XP
is preventing access with "Access Denied". I assume this is due to the old
system requiring me to log on using my password and thus locking access. Is
there a solution to gaining access? I know what the old Password is.

Hmmm once I searched a little further I see Mark L. Ferguson has posted the
solution to this problem. I will give it a go. I will let you know if it
worked.
