Is it possible to prevent members of a global security
group from accessing an NTFS volume or folder durring a
set time interval?

Hello,

Are you talking about a share or the drive itself? If the access is being
done remotely manageing share permissions would be easier and less prone to
unwanted side effects.

Unfortunately there isn't time based setting for allowing or disallowing
access to a share, at least not in the core operating system.

You could change share permissions through a script that ran as a scheduled
job. This might be a bit cumbersome but it might also be worth testing.
