Fields Problem

Hi,
when I open a doc and get all it's field, it's take a long to time to
display, the doc have about 1000 fields, is there has some good way to
improve speed.

What kind of fields? If the fields are accessing data from other sources,
then it is inevitable that it will take some time to read the information.

The fields only used to do a tag, when I search all the fields to check
any changes
of the field, it runs very slowly. The doc open through DSO. Can I change it
to boomark, when there has same bookname, would it changed automatically?
