Field Codes

Hi,

I have a problem with a document - when I open it, field codes are visible
and I have to right-click on each one separately to toggle them show the TOC
or page number or whatever. Even when I save with when toggled to this kind
of information, when I re-open the document the field codes show up instead.
How can I make sure the actual info shows up when the doc is opened?

Tools | Options | View and remove checkmark from Field Codes (under the Show
area)

they also disappear when you protect the document. At least they do for me.
So if the final user opens a protected document, the field will not be
visible.
