Fibre Channel Drive can't be accessed!

hello
i have a fibre channel drive which is displayed in the hardware manager, A
filesystem is on the drive but i can't get it mounted (or can't assign a
drive letter).

yes it is configured i am running a windows server on the old raid, but i
want to copy the disk to a new raid system that makes the problem

If it is an arbitrated loop are you sure each loop ID is different? Or is it
on a switch, and is each one properly logging in and ID's being properly
aliased? If there is a switch can you bypass the switch?

The time I had this happen, it was a matter of properly configuring the
RAID. At this point I'm simply going through the motions to aid you in
debunking the problem. That means running down all avenues to possibly find
the one path you might not have tried.

I have seen FC cards hard themselves as ID 5. I think it was QLogic that did
that, but it could also have been an LSI card I was using.

thank you for your help
1. there is a switch (brocade 2400), i might bypass the switch, but then i
can't copy the drives or i have to install a second fibre channel card!
2. furthermore the qlogic recognises the dell array (target system) as a
disk (the qlogic programm helps doing so) with luns but the infortrend array
is still a device no drive without any luns.
3. what do you mean with ID
