Well this is the configuration I've.
Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz HT
Intel 865 GBF original Motherboard
2x80GB IDE Seagate 7200 rpm Hard Drives
1GB DDR 400 RAM as 512+256+256 on three slots.
1.44MB Floppy Drive
16x Sony DRU 810a DVD RW
nVidia GeForce FX 5200 (128MB) AGP Graphics Card
10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Adapter
400 W SMPS
Now my problem:
This system reboots at any moment!!! Ya any moment. I tried reformatting,
checking memory, checking HDD, different OS (Win XP/Vista and Linux FC 5/SuSE
10.1). But nothing helps!!! Windows sometimes gives a Blue Screen crash dump
with some error or mostly with only woth a STOP code. The stop codes vary so
I've not put them here. Linux doesn't even give a warning, a straight reboot!
I donno what to do. I've tried different memory configs, even removed my
nVidia GPU and ran the system on the onboard Intel 865 GPU. The reboot
frequency is reduced but it maybe even a coincidence. Currently I've
reinstalled my AGP card.

Please help me! Thanks in advance.

Hi, Thanks for that but I've already tried that. Running only 512 or 512 +
256 in 1&3 slots. Further I had been using this config since past 6 months!
It gave me no problem then!! And the link you gave is not valid!

I suggest checking the cables, then the cooling and the power.

Cables, particularly HD power & SATA, can become slightly loose. Simply
reseating connectors is cheap (I kinda like free).

Cooling can deteriorate over time, due to clogged air filters and
accumulated dust/dirt on fans and heat sinks and (sometimes) on chips;
the fix is, obviously, cleaning -- but only if you are comfortable
opening your box and poking around.

Power can deteriorate over time as well, mostly due to dust/dirt and
power supply aging. Also, caps on MBs (and other boards) can fail,
causing ripple to go up enough to make the system flaky; caps can be
replaced, but soldering skill is needed and you'll need to find the
right replacement caps.

Those Stop codes, researched on Microsoft's website and/or Google, will
tell you which hardware component is failing. Use them.

Thanks guys, ne way I checked the HDD cable and to my shock it had a broken
line in it. Replaced it, working fine now! (Looks so atleast!!). My net
connection was down for 10 days so couldn't reply. Thanks once again for all
the help!
