Feature Request: Boolean expressions in rules and search folders

Outlook should allow groups of AND and OR clauses in rule and search folder
definitions. Preferably C# or Visual Basic expressions should be allowed for
power users.

For example, I could setup a search folder "Urgent" based on the rule: "if
it comes from my boss and I'm in the to list and it's not flagged as low
priority, or it comes from my customer and I'm in the to list, or it's
flagged as high priority and I'm in the to list".

Conjunctive normal form would be ok if it makes the UI easier for
medium-power users.

Hear! Hear! Using separate rules is not really the same.

I think the original poster was making a suggestion, not asking for help.

What the user wants can already be done by using SQL syntax and WebDAV
property syntax for the view filter or advanced search or search folder
filter. It's only rules that can't do that. If you know SQL syntax you can
create some fairly complex filters for search folders.

Ken, might you be able to show some examples with SQL syntax used in Search
Folder queries or any KB articles listing commands, usage. Thank you, Gregg
