Fdisk Problem

E

El Cugino

When I installed xp on my drive, the option was to make the drive
NETFS. Now I want to fdisk it and re-partition it to fat 32 and put
win98se back on. I try a boot disk and it won't recognize fdisk.

Anyone know how I can get it back to a partition for fat32?

Thanx

Actually, fdisk, as provided by the Win98 startup floppy, will work.
You use it to find the NON-DOS partition, and then delete it. After
that, you can create a fat32 partition, or whatever DOS file system
you want to use.

Of course, for this to work, fdisk has to exist. If you just create a
boot disk in XP, it won't be there. You can download boot disks for
various OS platforms from www.bootdisk.com
