i am trying to image a pc with ghost. first i need to
delete the partitions. I use fdisk, go to delete extended
partition, get a message you must delete logical drives
first. when i go to delete logical drives, it says no
logical drives found. so i can't delete the partitions.
any suggestions?

Greetings,
on windows 9x there was the parameter /x, which had to be used to
delete ntfs partitions. Just take a look at the supported parameters.

You may have a damaged file system. Follow the steps in Knowledge Base
article 229716 Description of the Windows 2000 Recovery Console
(http://support.microsoft.com/?id=229716) to boot to the Recovery Console
and run Chkdsk /r against the drive. Once it completes, restart and try to
delete the partition again.

You can delete the partition using fdisk but you have to
choose delete non dos partition.
