The following message is from a while back. I have not seen any
update on the issue and I seem to be hitting a problem with the second
issue. Does anyone have any updates or workarounds?
Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. I repro'd your issue:
1. the net resource you renamed is reset to the default name post
FBReseal.
This appears to be a sysprep issue but will be investigated.
2. the drive letter of the cd-rom is being reset to the default letter
post
FBReseal. Needs to be investigated as well.
One thing to note is there was also some complaint before regarding
sysprep
(not FBReseal) that shortcuts on the desktop disappeared after the
cloning
process. I verified this is not the case in XPe, my shortcuts were not
affected. Of course if the shortcut goes to a resource that is being
altered
by fbreseal, then it would be possible for the shortcut to become
broken.
For instance, if you had a shortcut to the CD-ROM drive as letter 'Z',
then
go through reseal phase, the shortcut would be broken since the drive
is now
some other letter.
We will investigate these issues. Thanks for your patience.
