Faxing w MSFax from Acrobat causes fuzzy graphics

We fax customers documents from Adobe Acrobat 7.0 using the MS Fax wizard
that came with Office 2003 (running on WINXP Pro). While the rest of the
document looks fine, graphics come out fuzzy with small black dots all over
the graphic. For instance, If I print a business letter from word to Adobe,
our logo and jpg signature will look fine, but when I then fax the pdf of the
letter via MS fax wizard to a client; the document they receive has dots all
over the logo and signature block. Is this a print driver problem? Any
thoughts much appreciated.

The Windows XP Fax Service does no rendering of any document you are faxing.
All rendering is done by the application responsible for the printto verb
for your document type.

Thank you for the response. If I understand what you are saying, it sounds
like our problem might be a compatability issue between Acrobat and the fax
print driver?

Acrobat does the rendering for PDF files.
