Hi,

I work in an organization where there is alot of paper incoming. The
problem is there is also alot of movement so paper can get lost in
transition. I was wondering if there was a way that customers could fax
documents and they would show up as attachments in a specified email inbox.
Is this possible to do through outlook?

Please let me know,

Bob

Post makes no sense. Clarify it please. You seem to be asking whether you
can fax a document and have it received as email. Surely that is not your
question.

Suprisingly enough, that is my question...can a document be faxed and show up
as an attachment in an email. I don't think its possible, but someone asked
me that question today so I am just making sure its not possible

Not possible. A fax transmission can only go to a fax machine/fax modem.
Many years ago transmissions to Microsoft Fax Services could be routed to
the Outlook Inbox where they would appear as an attachment to a message. But
even that hasn't been supported since Windows 2000.

Just one thing to add, there are fax applications that can interface with your mail server to route faxes to email recipients. But that's a server issue, not an Outlook issue.
