I just downloaded the fax at http://www.usr.com/bvrp/bvrp.asp Version 9.03
and it's working pretty good for me. The only thing I didn't like was I was
only able one attachment to my fax. The one in XP allowed me as many
attachments as I wanted. But for free...I can't complain too much:-)

If you send a multipage document such as one from MS WORD it will send it in
one session. So, If I want to send multiple independent pages, I open up a
word document and drag them pages into the new WORD document and send it.

That's an idea...thanks. I had two PDF files, that I had to change to jpeg
files, but then had to send them one at a time. But like I said
before...it's FREE!!!!

there are programs that can merge pdf files

Yes. I asked this Group for help and someone kindly told me about
Snappyfax.

http://www.snappysoftware.com/

I downloaded it and am delighted with it: it is a good, reasonably priced,
Vista compatible program: initially you can download and use as a trial
version but, later, you can buy (I think it was something like £12).

Hope this helps
