I have a desktop PC running Windows XP SP2. I occasionally use the
Windows Fax program to send documents. The past couple of days, when
sending a fax, I hear the computer dial the number, but the Fax Console
window does not appear, and I don't see the fax complete bubble from the
systray when the fax has been sent. Any ideas about this?

I just uninstalled and reinstalled the Windows Fax Service. Just sent
a fax, and it performed fine, Fax Console window appeared, and I got the
confirmation pop-up afterwards. However, I won't be convinced everything is
all right until I've sent 5 or 6 faxes with no problems.
