fax printing

Hi

I have a Win2K workstation with modem to automatically send incoming faxes
to a network printer. The printer is HP4100dtn shared through Win Srv 2003.

The problem is everything else can print but the fax cannot.

Looking in the app log, there is an error every time there is an incoming
fax. The error is:

"Unable to print c:\documents and settings\all users\...234023420.tif to
\\server\networkshareprinter. The following error occurred: Access is
denied..."

Any help on solving this problem is really appreciated.
Thank you
Steve

It sounds like you have a permissions problem (duh). Are you using the fax
monitor built into Windows? If you are, check to see if the SYSTEM account
has permission to access the network printer. Generally, if you're on a
workgroup, this isn't a problem. If you are on a domain, then speak to your
admin to see if he can assign the "Print" permission to "Everyone" on the
printer. If you are the admin (I know how that feels... :), then assign the
"Print" permission to "Everyone" on the printer. That should help you.
