1) Opened Windows Fax & Scan (Vista Ultimate).
2) Scanned document from this program.
3) Clicked on "Forward as Fax"
4) A Fax cover page opened - Generic - Dialing Rule (None)
5) To: Typed recipient FAX No. 0044......
6) Typed Subject
7) Typed some cover page notes
8) Clicked on "SEND"
and the result for two whole days remained the same:
MESSAGE CANNOT BE SENT - INVALID DATA.
I hope I have answered and informed you as requested - if you need to have
more information let me know.
Even when I changed "Dialing Rule" to - My Location - the error continued
to appear.
Thanks for your patience.

It is axiomatic that the fax is sent through a fax modem. You failed to
answer my question. Post the precise steps used to render and send the
fax.

The fax is sent through an internal modem which is working perfectly
since,
as I told you, when I write only the fax number the fax starts to be
sent.
The program used for scanning is the same one which came with Windows
fax
and scan. (Windows Vista Ultimate)
I think Office 2007 is involved because when I tried to write the
number
+44...... instead of 0044........... an error tells me that Outlook
does
not
accept such numbers.
Thanks again and sorry for troubling you.
If you thin some other group will help tell me which one and I post my
issue
to them.

Not yet we can't. You must provide the precise method used to send the
fax,
the program responsible for rendering your attachment, and why you
think
Office 2007 is involved.

I tried to send a fax to Uk with scanned attachment but it said :
Message
cannot be sent - invalid data. When I type only the fax number
0044......
it
starts to be sent but when I add - subject - and notes to
"coverpage" -
I
always have the same error:
"Message cannot be sent" - Invalid data.
I am using Windows Fax and Scan which came with Vista Ultimate.
I use Office 2007.
Can you please troubleshoot this issue. Thanks in anticipation.
