Fax does not display

I am running outlook xp on a windows XP SP2. I am trying to open up a fax
but when it open up no document is shown. I am using miniview software to
view the fax. The work around that seem to work is if I save the fax to my
desktop and open the miniview and open the fax document, it work just fine.
I can not make it to work automatically in outlook XP. Is there a patch or
registry setting that I need to do in order for the program to work in
outlook XP?

You have the wrong file association. If you want to open from Outlook, you
can't use whatever "miniview" is.

Thanks for resonding back Russ. I am using WinFax Pro to send the fax to my
outlook. I have another laptop with outlook 2003 and I use miniview without
a problem. It seem to have an issue with outlook XP. Unfortunately I do not
have another office 2003 license. What should I do to fix this issue?
Should I try to revert bak to use microsoft picture and fax viewer software?

I forgot to mention that the fax extension is .fxm
