Favorites

There are a number of folders that automatically are
listed under Favorites. When I organize my favorites and
delete those that automatically are listed they reappear
the next time I log on to my computer. Is there a way of
getting rid of them permanently?

Find the folder in explorer, right click it, properties, check the hidden
box. Now you'll never see them again as long as you keep the hidden files
setting set to hide them.
 
Not spyware at all. The op is talking about the links folder in favorties.
This is a system folder and when you delete it, it will come back. To not
see it you simply set its attributes to hidden.
