Favorites

I have a Dell XPS 420 desktop with Vista Ultimate with documents, pictures,
mail, favorites, etc. that have been imported from Windows 98se.
I can click on existing favorites and Links (that were imported), but I get
an "unknown error" message when I try to place a new favorite or link into
the list. Just can not figure out how to do it. Neither could Dell. I know
they were imported correctly as it was done by a Microsoft MVP, and
everything else seems to be working just fine. Any help would be
appreciated.

What is the exact location of your Favorites folder?
