Favorites menu in Windows Explorer

How do I remove Favorites menu from all Windows Explorer screens?

I no longer use IE as my browser, so I do not need to see my IE favorites
everywhere, especially when I am looking at my own file system.

selectfavourites tab ,then select organize in left pane.new window
appears,hilight ones for removal then press delete ,temporary access to
windows explorer will be required

Thaks, but not quite what I am after!

I do not want to see the Favorites menu in Windows Explorer. But I do not
want to delete all the entries as I still want to have them available in
Internet Explorer on the few occasions I use it for browsing.

....in other words, I need to know how to customize the Windows Explorer menu
bar to remove the Favorites entry.
