Favorites in 64bit Vista still won't stay in order I put them in

Favorites won't stay in the order I put them in. They keep alphetizing
themselves every so often still. What is wrong with this operating system? We
lost our ability to have the system set up like we want. Now we have to have
scrolling start menus and menus that order themselves like the system wants
and not like the user wants.

The term PC is wrong. It needs to be called MC

MS needs to let users have access to d/l XP until they get this fixed. Vista
is still in BETA. I have a $1500 aggrevation with this thing.

since you seem to be the only person complaining of this problem, I'd suspect ad ADD ON you have installed is screwing with the favorites.
like google tool bar or some one else's.
if you paid $1500 for your copy of vista, I'd like to sell you a few more.

The $1500 refers to the laptop I bought with Vista Ultimate. I have no
toolbars installed. I hate all those toolbars because they are unnecessary.
The only addon is IEspell or maybe something Adobe or HP related that was
there when I purchased the laptop.

I installed IEspell and that is it.

nor sure, but norton and mcafee are known to cause strange problems.
do you have either installed.
if so remove then using the special uninstaller from its respective web site and install either AVG (FREE) or AVAST( also FREE).
