How do you copy the favorites file to removable disc.. IN
other words where does the favorites file live so I can
do a plain copy...?

The favorites folder is located at:
C:\Documents and Settings\<your profile name>\Favorites

Your easiest option is in IE, go to File-Import and Export - Export
Favorites to a file.You can then save this file to an external device and do
the reverse where you want to import.
