favorites button

When I go to my favorites button,the drop down list shows
the entire Windows file!? When I access favorites from
the start menu the Windows file is there too. Only in
douments and settings are my real favorites displayed.
Any help in how to repair? Thanks
 
Your Registry setting is wrong.

You can change the value of Favorites in the Registry in these
two keys: (ignore the second if the value is not there)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders
