During a brief excursion into the world of Firefox, I noted that lots of
websites have customised Faveicons that in Firefox, appear in the address bar
upon loading any page containing the Link tag in the header.
I've noticed that the only way I can make these icons appear within Internet
Explorer is when a particular page is set as my homepage, and the icon
becomes cached, or if I add a page to my favourites, and again, the icon
becomes cached.
Is there an issue with IE retrieving these icons and displaying them? I see
that sometimes they are cached but not displayed... is this a recognised
issue?
