Fatal System error

Suddenly today when I turn on my computer it starts to load windows Xp I
them get the following message:
Stop: 000021a Fatal System Error The windows Log on process system process
terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000)
The system has shut down. Is there anything I can do? can I make a boot up
disk or something that will help me get this up. I figure it is a virus but
can't get it up to clean it.

On starting computer, tap the F8 key, select safe mode, enter as administrator,
open event viewer for ant OS errors/warnings,click on the url with them.At
the least,go to run,type:cmd In cmd type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,
type:EXIT Restart computer.

Unfortunately it won't boot up in safe mode. It starts to but then the same
message comes up. I can't get to a command prompt. Any thoughts anyone?
