Fatal Errors in IE

Hi. I'm running IE 6 on a Win 98SE machine and I started to receive the following fatal error message: " A fatal exception 0D has occurred at 1107:014F6B97. The current application will be terminated".

The machine then freezes.

This only happens in IE--usually after I open 3 or 4 web sites.

Any info on this would be appreciated. It is very annoying. Also, does anyone have any experience with the IE Repair utility? Is it worth a try?

What would happen if I uninstalled and then re-installed IE if the repair fails?

Thanks for any help you can offer..

Shit-can that lousy MS browser and load Netscape or
Mozilla. You may be able to get rid of the IE bug
temporarily by reloading the browser software, but those
bugs just kept coming back on my computer until I wised up
and ditched IE altogether.
