Fatal error situation in Excel when trying to closing files which is an email attachment

After upgrading to Outlook and Excel 2002 SP2, I have many times experienced
a fatal error situation in Excel when trying to close a file which is an
email attachment . Except from this recurring fatal error situations, Excel
works just fine.

(Just wondered if this is related to using the Filter option?))
