Fatal Error Reinstalling Office 2003

My office 2003 just disappeared when I tried to open "speech". MSN has given
me a link to redownload plus I found an old download of 2003 but just as the
package finishes extraction I get a fatal error and installation stopps.....I
have spent hours on the phone with MSN and no remendy yet...I don't think
they know....all my problems began when I installed IE7 and have had to do a
complete Restore once and hope I don't have to again.....does anyone have a
clue as to what has happened? I installed Open Office without any
problems....what's with Office 2003?
