I have an older program, it will only run on a fat 32 partition, I have done
this in XP by giving it a small fat 32 of it's own & running is as windows
98. Is this something I can do in Vista home premimum?

Consider using Virtual PC unless there is a special hardware requirement
other than a FAT32 partition
..

Please? What is the name of this program that will only run on a fat32
partition? (-:

Documagix, it is like Paperport...They have stopped making it & I have
transitioned to Paperport but still have some documents in the older format.

Unless the program is making illegal calls (by today's safety standards) to
the hardware, an installed program is partition "type" agnostic. It doesn't
care which type of partition it is installed to. So, you have other
problems, and they are not fat32 related.

Besides FAT 32, Vista also will not run CP/M or TRS-80 programs. Can you
belive that?

Yep! Microsoft really missed the boat on that one. They also forgot all the
free Linux apps and Apple apps.

I'm still bummed that full-screen DOS mode is no longer available. That
really makes a lot of my games look very strange ...

How about installing Virtual PC and running a DOS machine within it? You
could do full screen that way, right? Probably still can't run Ultima
Underworld though.
